Estonia: Lareema National Park - Viniistu village along the Baltic Sea

Estonia is great and low key. Lots of forests, not much agriculture from what we saw while driving around.....although now we know that a lot is happening in green houses, which we did not see as easily while driving as fields of wheat. As I mentioned in my previous post, food is excellent here, definitively an upgrade from Scandinavian countries.

We left Tallinn with a rental car. Monique was the driver, Glenn the navigator and I was resting in the back. On our way to Viinistu in Lareema National Park, directly East of Tallinn.

Many, many trees along the way!

We arrived in Viinistu where our lodging was. Nice little hotel along the Baltic Sea

Viniistu probably has no more than 100 inhabitants. There was a very small museum next door to the hotel. We were quite amused by the exhibit outside....."100 suitcases" which in french would be translated as "Cent valises".... same pronunciation but different from "Sans valises" :))

Viinistu is a beautiful little village.

Manors in Sagadi and Palmse
