Visit of Averbury and Lacock, both located west of London

How nice it was to take Marion and Keith on a road trip to the west of the country. Again we were really quite pleased with what we saw along the way. England is really beautiful. Old towns, churches, cathedrals, neolithic stones in very special sites dating from 5000 years ago, roman baths from the first century.
Our first stop was Avebury, a Neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles around the village of Avebury (west of London)

Next we visited the village of Lacock, a village famous for its "unspoiled" appearance and beautiful abbey

Authentic but not old English snail

Tea time!
