Sareema island in Estonia

We drove from Parnu to Sareema island, crossing to the island by ferry. The island is located on the West side of Estonia. Our final destination on the island was the town of Kuressaare.

                                           Waiting for the ferry

Kuressaare, a small town with a beautiful castle.

Our hotel on the water with wonderful spas and swimming pools, the hallmark of Estonia appreciated by many Europeans.

The castle: the best preserved medieval fortification in Estonia. The castle dates from 1380. It was restored between 1904-1912 and then in 1968. It is late gothic in style. The museum inside the castle is quite interesting, presenting lots of history of the island and the castle in the last 300 years.

Oh no.....What happened to me?! Should not have drunk the ugly troll's magic potion

One of our last great dinner in Estonia
