Update

Dear all,

Unfortunately Wifi in Ecuador is really weak and I have not been able to download pictures to the blog on my computer since we arrived in this country. We visited Quito for a few days, then spent 2 amazing weeks in the Galapagos. We were fortunate to find a discounted cruise on a 16 passenger yacht that took us for 8 days around 7 islands (some small). I must say that these islands are beautiful and the wild life on them is amazing. I CANNOT wait to share all my pictures with you.

We are leaving Quito for Lima, Peru on Tuesday and hope to find better Wifi there. It is not a given.
I promise to resume blogging as soon as I can. It had worked so well until now last month.
Marion (our daughter) and Keith (our son in law) are joining us for 2 weeks in Peru. We cannot wait to travel with them. We will discover Lima, Cusco, the sacred valley, Machu Picchu, lake Titicaca, Arequipa and Colca Canyon. We will then continue south to Chile on our own.
