Galapagos: Isabela and Fernandina islands

Getting good Wifi is a real challenge in this part of the world. We had a few days in Lima with good wifi and it allowed me to publish the last two posts. We are now in Cusco with weak or no wifi. Bear with me. Peru and Bolivia are not going to have good wifi and we are going to be in these countries for at least 3 weeks. I will keep trying :))

More pics of Isabella and Fernandina most western islands.

Little pinguins

Darwin finch

So many marine iguanas on Fernandina

Long and thin snake

A marlin!

The frigate birds are following our boat to catch fish that also follow our boat!

Surprise! Unedited picture straight out of my cell phone - staring at the sun to get this bird :))

Pilot whales around the boat

Four little penguins on a tiny island...

then comes two big sea lions

which selfishly now occupy a lot of the space

..so the little penguins decide to go back into the ocean - shortage of real estate on this island!

The mechanical engineer lifts up the anchor

"It is practically impossible to look at a penguin and feel angry"
