Patagonia (3) - Hiking to Fitz Roy in El Chalten Argentina - Amazing scenery again!

We went by bus from Puerto Natales to El Chalten via El Calafate. El Chalten is a small town with a wonderful atmosphere, many hikers and few other tourists. Good spirit and good food. We could not help trying the Argentinian steak again here. The hike to Fitz Roy was absolutely spectacular with views of Fitz Roy very early in the hike. Here are the pics.

The second day, we hiked to Laguna Torre, another long hike although not as strenuous as the day before. The weather was not as good as for the Fitz Roy hike. There were clouds covering some of the pics. Oh well, we are in Patagonia.

On the third day we went to the waterfall Chorillo del Salto, to Mirador de los condores and Mirador de las aguillas, above El Chalten. There was a beautiful view from up there.

These are the "el calafate" berries, not quite as good as blueberries
