Patagonia (2) - Magnificent park Torres del Paine (Chile)

We rented a car in Puerto Natales to go to Parque Torres del Paine. Torres del Paine is referred to by many as "the 8th wonder of the world". We were very excited to have the opportunity to explore it. We had reserved a hotel at the entrance of the park for 3 nights.

The drive to the hotel

Ready to hike to the Torres del Paine (the tours) - It is an 8-9 hr hike -

It is snowing!

After 4 hr of hiking (the last km was very steep), finally we had a view of the towers! It was not perfectly clear but we could see them. Many people hike and do not see them at all - Patagonia changing weather!

We made it to the bottom - 7hrs of hiking - our legs could tell!

Dramatic, isn't it?

The turquoise color of this lake was amazingly beautiful

Another walk in the park with amazing scenery...and wind blowing at a speed of >50 km/hr

Black heads, they must be guanacos!
